Thanks to HQ for my ARC copy of this intriguing new tale from B A Paris ' The Dilemma'
A first time author for me, this story is a very different premise as the two main protagonists, married couple Adam and Livia, both have a secret from the other but don't know how and when to tell the other, worried it could destroy everything they have.
It's a hard book to review as you have to suspend belief slightly in regards to the dilemma's in question - especially in the case of Adam.
This book will draw you in, it will make you read and question things. It will also make you want to climb into the pages and tell the characters to give their heads a wobble and get their priorities straight.
Secrets, lies, selfishness, family dramas and how they deal with stress and traumas. Its fast paced and entertaining, thought-provoking and very much worth a read.
Quite dark in its way, with some real suspense and nail-biting chapters that ensure you wont put this one down - it's just the element of suspending belief so much that made this review a bit more difficult to read
Switch off, and you will be thoroughly entertained. Question it and you might scream.
