Review   Thanks to Randomhouse Vintage for my invite on to the tour for the paperback release of ‘Conviction’ by Denise Mina. An author I have always heard much praise about yet not got around to reading , my interest was piqued on reading the blurb for this one. Anna’s happy life is shattered one morning when husband Hamish announces out of the blue he is leaving her, for none other than her best friend, and also taking the kids. In an act of what seems almost defiance and pretty much sticking her head in the sand, Anna, already an addict to true crime podcasts, busies herself from the outside world and starts listening to a podcast entitled ‘Death and the Dana’.
